Welcome to the Daan Hotels Mobile Application (the "App"). The App is owned and operated by Daan Hospitality Solutions Private Limited, an enterprise registered under the laws of India, with corporate operations based out of Kerala, India. By downloading, installing, or using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please remove and do not use the Application.
Part 1: Terms & Conditions
1. Account & App Usage
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to book a room accommodation through this App.
- Account Security: If you register an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and are entirely accountable for all activities that occur under your profile.
- Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide true, current, and complete details during reservations (including your name, contact number, and verification details).
2. Booking, Pricing, and Payments
- Reservations: Room availability and pricing across our branches are managed dynamically. A reservation is considered confirmed only after the App issues an explicit booking confirmation ID.
- Payment Processing: Payments through the App are securely handled via authorized third-party gateway providers. Daan Hotels does not store raw credit card numbers or UPI PINs on its application servers.
- Taxes: All listed accommodations are subject to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly specified otherwise.
3. Cancellation and No-Show Policies
- Property-Specific Rules: Cancellation limits, deadlines, and refund rules differ depending on the chosen property room tier (e.g., Daan Orchid Residency, Daan Temple Inn, Monsoon Retreats by Daan).
- No-Shows: Failure to check-in at the hotel branch within the designated timeline without prior notice will treat the booking as a No-Show, forfeiting structural refund options.
4. Limitation of Liability
Daan Hospitality Solutions Private Limited strives to ensure unhindered application services. However, we are not responsible or liable for unexpected outages, network down-times, or communication errors originating from service providers or external cloud hosting architectures.
Part 2: Privacy Policy (Google Play Requirements)
This privacy component explains how we collect, process, and guard user information within our Android mobile application ecosystem.
1. Data We Collect
To deliver proper booking and hotel exploration workflows, the App handles:
- Personal Profiles: Name, email address, physical layout address, and mobile contact number.
- Device Metrics: Operating system versions, unique machine identifiers, and logs tracked via automated systems like Firebase Crashlytics to optimize application performance.
- Location Access: If explicitly granted, the application checks coordinates to display the nearest regional Daan Hotel property (e.g., locations in Kochi, Trivandrum, or Vagamon).
2. How We Use Your Data
- To smoothly process room inventory reservations and feed registration data to branch front-desks.
- To enable tap-to-call direct communications with support or managers.
- To locate system bugs and elevate Flutter engine runtime performance.
3. Data Disclosures & Transmissions
We do not trade, lease, or distribute data sets to third-party target advertisers. Information is selectively sent over HTTPS channels only to core property management desks and authorized transaction routers.
4. Data Retention
We hold personal information details safely only for the duration required to satisfy regional hospitality mandates, internal account auditing, and native Indian taxation rules.
